About Me

I am a university teacher and researcher at the Department of International Relations, Hasanuddin University, in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.  I was born on October 28th.

In 1998, I pursued my bachelor degree in International Relations from Hasanuddin University, my master degree in International Relations from the University of Indonesia, Jakarta, in 2010.

Currently, I am doing my research for Ph.D degree at the Graduate School of Global Studies, Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan. My focus of research is related to democratization issues in Southeast Asia.

I am also a researcher at the Institute of Autonomy and Democracy Studies, an research NGO based in Makassar, Indonesia. My area of interest are democracy and democratization, foreign policy, foreign aid, democracy assistance, and transnational issues (soft politics).

Pengajar di Jurusan Ilmu Hubungan Internasional FISIP Universitas Hasanuddin di Makassar.  Lahir di Fakfak, Papua, tanggal 28 Oktober.  Banyak orang yang memberi ucapan selamat ulang tahun pada tanggal lain. Tidak apa-apa, saya menerimanya saja.  S-1 saya tempuh di Unhas, dan S-2 di Universitas Indonesia.  Semuanya dalam bidang studi hubungan internasional.  Saat ini saya sedang menempuh pendidikan untuk program doktor (Ph.D) di Graduate School of Global Studies, Doshisha University, Kyoto, Jepang.  Riset saya tentang bantuan demokrasi di Asia Tenggara.

Saya juga adalah peneliti pada Lembaga Kajian Demokrasi dan Otonomi (LeDO) Makassar.  Penelitian-penelitian saya umumnya berkaitan dengan topik demokrasi, desentralisasi, politik luar negeri, dan isu-isu transnasional (soft politics).
